Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the buzzn mobile app and the buzzn Business web dashboard (together, the “Service”), operated by buzzn (“we,” “us”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

The Service

buzzn lets consumers discover live, time-limited deals at nearby businesses and check in to redeem them. It lets businesses create accounts, list deals, and manage subscriptions/add-ons. buzzn is a listing and discovery platform — we are not a party to, and do not guarantee, any specific deal, offer, or transaction between a consumer and a business.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account. Business accounts are subject to our review before a listing goes live, and we may reject, suspend, or remove a business listing at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms.

Business listings and deals

Businesses are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, deal terms, pricing, and availability, and for honoring the deals they publish. buzzn is not responsible for a business failing to honor a deal, and disputes about redemption should be resolved directly with the business.

Check-ins and redemption

A check-in generates a time-limited, single-use code. Codes expire automatically and cannot be reused once redeemed. Attempting to generate check-ins you don’t intend to redeem, or otherwise abusing the check-in system, may result in account suspension.

Paid placement (Boost & Featured)

Businesses may purchase Boost or Featured add-ons to appear higher in, or more prominently within, the consumer feed. Paid placement affects ordering and visibility only— it is not an endorsement of the business, its deals, or their quality by buzzn, and is separate from and doesn’t influence whether a listing was approved.

Payments and subscriptions

Business subscriptions and add-ons are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. Prices, billing cycles, and cancellation are shown in the Billing section of the dashboard before purchase. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once a billing period has started.

Your content

You retain ownership of photos and other content you upload. By uploading content, you grant buzzn a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it as part of operating the Service (including in shared links and previews). You must have the rights to anything you upload, and it must not be illegal, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate. We may remove or hide any content, including logos, deal photos, or gallery photos, at our discretion.

Prohibited conduct

• Uploading content you don’t have rights to, or that is illegal, deceptive, or infringing.
• Creating fake accounts, fake businesses, or fake check-ins.
• Interfering with or attempting to circumvent the Service’s security or rate limits.
• Using the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law.

Location and notifications

Location access and push notifications are optional and controlled by your device’s permission settings. Some features (like the nearby feed) won’t work without the corresponding permission.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any deal will be available or honored.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, buzzn will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
